4 Day Kidepo Vallery National Park

The drive to Kidepo valley national park is long and exhausting one it is about 10 -12 hours of
drive on a good day with good weather, I will pick you up from your residence at about 6:00 am
and embark on the long awaited drive to Kidepo Valley National park. Overnight at Kidepo
Savannah Lodge (Meal Plan: Full board basis)

After an early breakfast we will head out to Wilderness to enjoy an out of this place experience
of the true wilderness as we search for wildlife like Lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, big heard
of buffalos and elephants among other animals in the open savannah, rocky outcrops, forests
and rings of mountains. We will mainly explore the Narus Valley in the south of the park which
is the greener part of the park and has the only permanent water sources, as a result the south
hosts most of the animals in Kidepo National Park and maybe the north part which is drier and
has fewer animals but is a unique wilderness with the dry sandy bed of Kidepo river that is
beautiful lined with palm trees, hot springs.
After our lunch we will head out of the Park to Lorukul village to absorb ourselves into the
Karamojong culture and experience their unique way of life which is still authentic. The
Karamojong will show you their unique housing called the Manyatta, inform you about their
traditions, and entertain you with their traditional dancing. Overnight at the Kidepo Savannah
Lodge or Apoka Rest camp (Meal Plan: Full board basis)

We will go for another game drive this morning, after breakfast we will check out of the lodge
and go for our last game drive in Kidepo valley national park as we try out our luck again for
different sightings and thereafter drive to Gulu city with a stopover at Aruu Falls. Optional
evening Gulu night life experience. Overnight at African Roots Gulu (Meal plan, Fallboard basis)

On this day after breakfast we will embark on a drive back to Entebbe with enroute visit to ziwa
Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and thereafter drive back to Entebbe at leisure. End of our 4
day Kidepo tour.
